Immigration and Customs Enforcement offering hundreds of millions of dollars to private surveillance companies as part of an immigrant bounty hunting program, including guaranteeing multimillion-dollar payouts for private companies.
According to reporting from the Intercept, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has hired a subsidiary of for-profit prison company GEO Group to hunt down immigrants at their homes and places of work. ICE had previously secured a deal with surveillance firm BI Incorporated as part of the program, reported in October by The Intercept, to use private bounty hunters to find immigrants in exchange for money bounties.
This seems to be part of a large planned crack down on immigration. The Washington Post recently reported that ICE documents show a plan to detain 80,000 immigrants in warehouses. More on that story is available in this video as well. Under that proposal, immigrants would be processed at short-term sites before being transferred to one of seven large ‘hubs,’ each capable of holding 5,000 to 10,000, located in Texas, Virgina, Arizona, Georgia, and Missouri, with one site planned for Hammond, Louisiana, according to the Washington Post.
Private immigration bounty hunters are a troubling concept that indicates the administration has no intentions to stand down on its crusade against immigrants in the US spearheaded by the warped mind of the bald freak and white supremacist Stephen Miller.
We might soon be seeing Ice the Bounty Hunter working as an ICE bounty hunter.
