Pro Bono Assistance

Pro Bono Immigration Assistance

We believe that everyone deserves access to justice and competent legal representation, regardless of their financial circumstances. Navigating the immigration system can be overwhelming, and we are committed to supporting our community by providing pro bono (free) legal services on a case-by-case basis.

Who We Help

While we review all requests, we focus our pro bono efforts on individuals from particularly vulnerable populations who often face significant barriers to securing legal representation. We frequently extend our pro bono services to:

  • Children and Minors navigating the immigration system alone.
  • Victims of Crimes, including domestic violence and human trafficking.
  • Family Members of U.S. Military Personnel and veterans.
  • LGBTQ+ Individuals seeking asylum and protection.
  • Low-Income Families, specifically households with an annual income under $30,000.
  • Individuals with Serious Medical Conditions, including individuals with mental illness.
  • Individuals experiencing homelessness.
Pro Bono Services Provided

Our pro bono assistance is not limited to full-scale representation. We offer a wide range of services to help you at different stages of your immigration journey:

  • Free Consultations & Case Evaluations: A thorough review of your immigration history to identify your options.
  • Attorney Review of Pro Se Submissions: A professional second set of eyes on applications you have prepared yourself before you file.
  • Second Opinions: An honest assessment of your current legal strategy.
  • Quick Questions & General Assistance: Brief advice to help you overcome roadblocks.
  • Hearing & USCIS Interview Preparation: Mock interviews and guidance to help you feel confident and prepared.
  • Agency Responses: Assistance drafting and responding to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) or Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs).
  • Full Representation: In select cases, we take on full representation for the duration of the legal proceeding at no cost.
Low Bono Services

In addition to our fully pro bono efforts, we understand that many individuals may not qualify for entirely free legal assistance but still cannot reasonably afford standard legal fees. To help bridge this gap, we offer Low Bono Services.

Low bono services are professional legal services provided at substantially reduced rates. These adjusted fees are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, utilizing a sliding scale based on your individual means, household income, and overall ability to pay. Our goal is to ensure that high-quality legal representation remains accessible to working individuals and families facing financial constraints.
